In 2015, Jon became the first Certified Divorce Lending Professional, CDLP, in Rhode Island. A large majority of divorce cases have real estate to be negotiated in the divorce settlement. One of the pain points in a settlement is when both sides agree to a solution, it gets finalized by the court, only to then realize that the agreed upon solution isn't possible. As a CDLP, Jon gets involved in the process early, working with the couples themselves, or the attorneys or mediators, to work out a fair and equitable solution that is obtainable.
